Bishop Boyce Landrum, Overseer and Sr. Pastor of Greater Love Refuge Ministries, received degrees in History and Theology from Ohio Wesleyan University. He continued his academic studies in African History and Theology in Liberia, West Africa. Bishop Landrum's Christian journey began in 1990 under the leadership of the late Presiding Bishop James Eugene Berry, DD. (Cathedral United Baptist Church).  He answered his call to preach in 1996. During his years in seminary, he served as an Associate Minister of Green Point Tabernacle of Praise Church with locations at the Men’s shelter in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and another in the Bronx. He was catechized and ordained by Bishop James Eugene Berry in February 2002. One year later, he founded and pastored the Greater Love Cathedral Baptist church in Coop-City, the Bronx. In 2007, he was elevated to the office of Presiding-Elder and was tasked with overseeing and providing pastoral guidance for several local district churches, including Greater Love church where his wife, Elder Carol Landrum, served as Pastor.

In the following years, Bishop Landrum reorganized Greater Love church under a new entity, Greater Love Refuge Ministries, Inc. where he now serves as Bishop and Overseer. He is a NYS Certified Chaplain and member of the Not on My Watch faith based coalition working to end human trafficking and domestic violence. Bishop Landrum founded an independent 5013C organization; Project Triple Pole Vault whose mission is to provide education, nutritional and recreational enrichment for all ages; and ultimately, senior day-care services. On June 21, 2020, in the witness and election by the Greater Love congregation, he received a Certificate of Episcopal Election of Consecration to the Episcopal Office of Bishop-Elect.  He was subsequently consecrated to office of BISHOP on June 15, 2022. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and spiritual father to many, he remains steadfast, unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing that his labor is not in vain.
